Knowledge is power—especially when it comes to making your home safer, more accessible, and better suited to your needs. Our client workshops cover specific topics* in a small group setting, offering expert guidance and practical solutions for real-life challenges.

Each workshop includes:

  • A deep dive into one specific topic related to home safety, accessibility, or aging-in-place.

  • Time for personalized problem-solving, where participants can discuss their concerns and receive tailored advice.

  • A small-group setting (20-30 participants) allows meaningful discussions and Q&A.

  • Practical takeaways you can immediately apply to your home and daily life.

Reading at Home

AGING-IN-PLACE CONSULTATION

Our Aging-in-Place Consultation is a budget-friendly, 1-2 hour session designed to provide personalized on-the-spot recommendations for creating a safer and more accessible home. This is perfect for those not yet ready for the full Flourish At Home Assessment.

During this consultation, we will:

  • Walk through your home and discuss priority areas for improvement based on your current and future needs.

  • Alternatively this consultation could take place during a real estate viewing in order to walk through a new home and determine if it is right for you.

  • Provide recommendations to enhance safety, accessibility, and comfort.

  • Share a detailed resource guide with helpful information on home modifications, equipment, and support services.

Cost: $125.00

While this consultation does not include a formal report or follow-up appointment, it does provide practical insights you can use right away. It's a great option for those who want expert advice without the financial or time commitment of a full assessment.

ASSESSMENT & PLANNING

Flourish At Home

FLOURISH AT HOME ASSESSMENT 

This assessment traditionally goes by many other names including: Home Safety Assessment, Home Modification Assessment, and Accessibility Assessment. At Flourish & Function , we've expertly combined all of these assessments into one, ensuring you get a the most comprehensive assessment possible.  This session is 2-3 hours in length, and includes a follow-up visit.

When you book your Flourish Home Assessment, we will:

  • Get to know you— your medical history, lifestyle, functional needs, and current and future goals for you and your home. YOUR priorities will guide our assessment. 

  • Thoroughly assess all areas of your home's indoor and outdoor spaces.

  • Compile the information into a personalized recommendation report. This report will make recommendations to improve safety, accessibility, and comfort.

  • If the design aesthetic of your home is important to you, this will be taken into account for your personalized report.

  • A 30 minute follow-up visit to walk through your report, answer any questions and discuss next steps. From sourcing and shopping for home modification items, to finding a trustworthy contractor to make the necessary changes, we are here to help with any next steps needed.
